On 19-20 March 2026, the 8ra Annual Summit 2026 will take place in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, bringing together partners, policymakers and stakeholders from across Europe to discuss the future of Europe’s sovereign cloud infrastructure.
Day 1 – IPCEI-CIS General Assembly (19 March 2026)
The first day is reserved for the IPCEI-CIS General Assembly and is by invitation only. Representatives of all IPCEI-CIS partners and participating Member States will meet to discuss key developments, governance topics and upcoming milestones of the project.
The day will conclude with a networking dinner in the evening.
Day 2 – 8ra Open Conference (20 March 2026)
On the second day, the summit opens to the public with the 8ra Open Conference, welcoming IPCEI-CIS partners, cloud providers, users and other stakeholders from across Europe.
The conference will highlight the role of the 8ra Initiative in building a multi-provider cloud-edge continuum and strengthening European cloud autonomy. IPCEI-CIS partners will present project results, engage in panel discussions and explore synergies with other European funding programmes and initiatives.
The day will conclude with networking drinks in the afternoon.
