The series builds on the results of ApeiroRA, an 8ra project led by SAP that provides a reference architecture for scalable, interoperable and sustainable cloud-edge operations. As the conceptual foundation for the NeoNephos Foundation, ApeiroRA has laid the groundwork for long-term, open-source collaboration under the Linux Foundation Europe.
Through this monthly meeting format, NeoNephos fosters alignment between IPCEI-CIS partners and the wider open-source community, ensuring that outcomes developed under the 8ra Initiative continue to evolve within a shared European framework. The sessions offer insights into current technical developments, community progress, and cross-project collaboration within the NeoNephos ecosystem.
