Amadeus’ IPCEI on Cloud Infrastructure and Services project aims at providing distributed data exchange platform capabilities that will support the needs of the distributed cloud-edge continuum as well as data-related ecosystems. The project is designed to deliver a technical solution offering new approach to data exchange, making it simple, scalable, distributed over the cloud-edge continuum, sustainable, trustable, and economically attractive.
As an open-source solution, DXP extends and develops the data mesh concepts connecting very distributed and heterogeneous actors – from IoT to multinational companies. It enables them to exchange all types of data (including streaming, real-time events) over the highly distributed cloud-edge continuum, thanks to non-intrusive connecting technology and avoiding duplication or centralisation of data. The solution will allow data discovery at scale to easily search, find and browse data, allowing data owners to remain in full control of their data, thanks to a complete set of security, data governance and policy features.
