Cybersecurity and Industrial Innovation
On 5 June 2025, Berlin will host the Cloud-Edge Continuum Conference – Cybersecurity and Industrial Applications, organised by the Siemens Research and Innovation Ecosystem Berlin, Deutsche Telekom and TU Berlin. Following a successful inaugural event in 2024, this year’s conference focuses on the secure deployment of industrial edge-cloud systems.

Featuring BMWE (Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Energy), Siemens’ Kicks for Edge, and Deutsche Telekom’s EdgeConnect, with a focus on Europe’s strategy for digital sovereignty. - Breakout session on SAP’s ApeiroRA project (11:30-12:30):
SAP will present its open reference architecture, designed to support a secure, sustainable, and flexible next-generation cloud-edge infrastructure. The session explores how ApeiroRA contributes to European digital sovereignty through intelligent energy-efficient system design.
