The 8ra Initiative will participate with key contributions on Europe’s Multi-Provider Cloud-Edge Continuum – an open, federated and sovereign digital infrastructure enabling interoperability and resilience across providers and borders.
On 4 November (11:50–12:15 CET), Dr. Johann Schmidt and Florian Denzin will present the 8ra Initiative in a keynote session, outlining how around 120 European partners are collaborating to create a modular, interoperable foundation for next-generation cloud-edge services. The talk will highlight concrete use cases and applications, including ApeiroRA, by SAP, KeeCEK by Ericsson, PoQUaSIA by Rheinmetall.
On 5 November (12:20–13:20 CET), Andreas Schlosser (SAP) will represent 8ra in the panel discussion . Together with experts from Viessmann, IONOS and Netgo, he will explore how European organisations can balance openness and independence while maintaining innovation, security and compliance in multicloud environments.
