This online panel discussion brought together cloud service providers actively contributing to the 8ra Initiative – including Clever Cloud, CloudFerro, IONOS, and Scaleway – to share insights into the challenges and opportunities of building a neutral, resilient, and adaptable multi-provider ecosystem. Participants explored how common APIs, open standards, and open source technologies are shaping a new approach to the deployment and management of AI workloads across a distributed cloud-edge infrastructure.
The session was moderated by Jordi Guijarro, Principal Technologist for Cloud-Edge Innovation at OpenNebula Systems. This discussion especially addressed the growing demand for Artificial Intelligence, which will soon exceed the capacity of individual providers and increasingly require proximity to users for low-latency AI inference.
