Current Cloud environments are very heterogeneous and there is a lack of consistent mechanisms for maintaining data sovereignty and identity. Especially in the aviation sector, where security is of the highest relevance, secure integration and processing of data is required. The AdvantagE – Digital aircraft data ecosystem with connection via multi-cloud edge systems for data exchange – project from Diehl Aerospace GmbH is creating a new, secure level of data integration in the aircraft with a “flying edge” component.
