It is today of critical importance to combine the rise of Cloud technologies with the development of edge computing, to enable efficient, secured and sustainable data processing on the Cloud-Edge continuum.
The main goal of the E2CC project is to deliver an end-to-end Cloud-Edge platform enabling easy integration of infrastructure products, providing cybersecurity and AI / Machine Learning Operation (MLOps) capabilities, and ensuring interoperability, portability and non vendor lock-in.
Main technology innovations are about infrastructure integration (APIs, Monitoring & Management software, standard/rules), Cloud to Edge orchestration, Distributed and trusted AI/MLOps capabilities, sustainability (decarbonisation), and Cloud enabled cybersecurity services.
