eEarly – Platform for early detection of health symptoms – will be a European open-source platform for gathering and analysing health related biometric data. There are numerous biometric sensors available at affordable prices. They can be used for early detection of possible health related symptoms of European population. Early treatments assure better outcomes and consequently healthier population and lower costs of treatments. In the end we have a healthier society aware of their health risks with less absence from work.
Major goals of the project are setting up a distributed open-source platform where all nodes can share data, where algorithms for detection of health symptoms can be exchanged among scientists and health organisations and where federated learning can be used to define new patterns of different diseases within the vast amount of shared data. The platform will be built on cloud-edge technologies provided by other partners within IPCEI-CIS, in this way assuring complete European sovereignty of the platform.
